WOW! week 9

Can you believe we are in our last full week of class?. I love to write, but this type of writing is not my thing. All the APA stuff is enough to drive you nuts. Its frustrating at times. I am a little nervous about it of course because, I want to do well. My writing has changed throughout the course, I find my self looking at every little detail of what I write. I get to write about anything that comes to mind. I also go to a writing school. That writing is non fiction articles for magazines. No APA stuff. You just get to let it flow. Good Luck everyone!

almost done

I can not believe we are almost done. The peer review has been good. I have really enjoyed reading the other students ideas for their finals. There are some really great subjects listed. I liked the mental illness in prison, fetal alcohol syndrome, childhood obesity. These are so many excellent ideas. I could not believe all the work that went into one project. That was my Ah-Ha moment. I just saw Katie's blog and she is frustrated that no one has posted on hers. I am at fault for that as much as anyone else. I just figured out we needed to do more than blog on ours. It looks like I completely goofed last week I just discovered and missed the part where we blog about someone else. I lost my points. I guess I need to pay closer attention.

In the home stretch

Well, here we go into the home stretch. Only one more week of actual school work. This class has been fun, but I will be glad for this session to be over. Mainly because of Math, yuck! The professor for that class is awsome but, knowing I will not be a math teacher or physics teacher I will not use 99% of the math. Its also been a wild session for this class. Everyone has been sick, there has been surgery, a baby born. No one can say its been uneventful. Our professor has been fantastic. Allot of new friends have been made. I know what I have learned in this class will help me in my further writing.

The End is Near

Wow! Can you believe its week seven already?. The time is flying by during this semester. I have enjoyed this class and our teacher. It makes life alot easier when you have a teacher the explains things and actually care for her students. I think this project will go well for all of us. I am looking forward to all the feed back to see where I can improve my paper. Everyone have a great week!

surgery

Well surgery is over. It went well. The anest. about killed me. Ive never thrown up so much in my life. Now I feel like Ive been run over by a truck. Im sure it will pass too. I just wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers. Now we wait for the results.

week 6

Well here we are again, another week flown by. Well tomarrow is the big day, surgery. I will be so glad to get this over with and find out the results. I hope I can concentrate enough to get my paper written for this class. Im doing pretty good in here and do not want to blow it because of this surgery. Well I am staying positive, all will be good.

busy week coming up

What a busy week coming up. Doing homework today. Have pre-op monday and mammogram for surgery thursday. Trying to get a little ahead on my school work incase I get admitted Thursday. I should'nt if all goes as planned. I will be home in the afternoon. Been researching family history for my surgeon to see if breast cancer is on either side of my family. Being adopted made it a bit harder. I found my birth fathers family and its not an issue on that side and its not an issue on my mothers side either. So maybe that is a blessing. Hope everyone's week is going well. I really like this Comp class.
